Frank studied at Hornsey art school before embarking on a successful career in advertising as the Creative Director of TBWA Paling Walters in London. Today he is a full-time artist and the tutor of watercolour painting at Kew Studio where he holds his workshop every Tuesday at 6.30pm. He has exhibited widely and hosts watercolour retreats in Kalymnos, Bordeaux, Juan Les Pins & Norfolk. His work has been featured in Artist and Illustrator magazine.
Frank’s approach is to capture a spirit and atmosphere of a subject in a quick n’ slick impressionistic style. As a tutor it’s something he believes everyone can achieve once they understand all the techniques. He prides himself on getting the very best out of his students by clear and concise demonstration with his prime ambition of discovering the unique expressive style of every student under his wing.
