ABOUT US: Kew Studio was founded in 1980 by artists, for artists, with the aim of encouraging a greater awareness of the visual arts and participation in the creative process. A registered educational charity, Kew Studio welcomes aspiring and established artists at all levels of experience. We offer a range of possibilities, from workshops and classes to full membership. Some artists base themselves at the Studio, while others make occasional visits. A strong nucleus of Resident Artists provides a stimulating and supportive atmosphere from which all can benefit.
The studio comprises two large, open-plan rooms and a Print Studio, which provide:
- Resident Artist studio spaces
- Open Studio space for artists wishing to work at the Studio on an occasional basis
- Art classes and workshops
- Exhibition space
- Etching and Screen Printing Studio
