KEW STUDIO ARTISTS SUPPORT HOMELESSNESS CHARITY SHELTER
On Sunday, April 26th, 2020, Kew Studio members responded to a plea for support by thousands of charities who would normally have benefitted from the fundraising efforts of those taking part in the London Marathon, which last year raised more than £66.4 million.
Our participating artists interpreted the ‘2.6 Challenge’ theme in a number of ways, with most deciding to produce a piece of art in 260 minutes during the course of Sunday 26th. Our chosen charity is Shelter, which supports those experiencing homelessness or bad housing.
We are over the moon to say that we have smashed our original target of £250 with our fundraising total currently standing at £1032! If you would like to support Kew Studio’s fundraising for Shelter we would be extremely grateful. You can find a link to our JustGiving page HERE.
Some of the work created by our artists is now available FOR SALE, the proceeds from which will also go to Shelter, details HERE.
Please enjoy a gallery, below, of some of the work our talented members produced for this initiative!
With best wishes, Kew Studio
