JUNE 2025 – KEW STUDIO ARTISTS SHOWCASE THEIR TALENTS!

KEW STUDIO ARTISTS SELECTED FOR RA SUMMER EXHIBITION! – A record seven Kew Studio members have been accepted to show their work at this year’s Royal Academy Summer Exhibition! Huge congratulations to Resident Artist Soon Yul Kang and printmakers Austin Cole, Simon Thompson, Tim Brookes, Francesca Learmount, Emma Appleton and Deborah Hercun, whose selected works can be seen below:

KEW STUDIO PRINTMAKER COLIN WIGGINS AT PALLANT HOUSE GALLERY – Etchings by print room member Colin Wiggins will be included in a new exhibition “Artists Seeing Each Other: Portraits of Artists” at Pallant House Gallery in Chichester. KEW STUDIO PRINT ROOM MANAGER PEG MORRIS ELECTED TO SOCIETY OF GRAPHIC FINE ART – Peg Morris has been elected to be an associate member of the prestigious Society of Graphic Fine Art. Founded in 1919, the SGFA promotes fine drawing skills in both traditional and contemporary media. More details HERE.

ABOUT US:

Kew Studio is a registered educational charity, founded in 1980 by artists, for artists, with the aim of encouraging a greater awareness of the visual arts and participation in the creative process. Kew Studio welcomes aspiring and established artists at all levels of experience. We offer a range of possibilities, from workshops and classes to full membership. Some artists base themselves at the Studio, while others make occasional visits. A strong nucleus of Resident Artists provides a stimulating and supportive atmosphere from which all can benefit.

CLASSES:

We are currently offering classes at Kew Studio in etching, tapestry, watercolours and screen printing. There may also be the opportunity to take part in shorter weekend workshops covering cyanotypes and other kinds of printmaking. Please note: All students participating in a Kew Studio class must become Student Members at a cost of £10 for the membership year (September 1st – August 31st). Student membership brings students fully into the Kew Studio community, allowing them, among other things, the opportunity to show their work at Studio exhibitions.
