Kew Studio news:
LOCKDOWN JANUARY 2021:
Kew Studio will remain OPEN during lockdown for Resident Artists and printmakers who are existing members and are unable to work from home. We are unfortunately not able to offer new Open Studio or Print memberships at the moment. All CLASSES will be continuing online.
If you would like to be updated with news of future classes at Kew Studio please get in touch at enquiries@kewstudio.org.
PLEASE NOTE: All students participating in a Kew Studio class must become Student Members at a cost of £5 per term or £10 for the year. Student membership brings students fully into the Kew Studio community, allowing them, among other things, the opportunity to take part in management meetings and to show their work at Studio exhibitions. ABOUT US: Kew Studio was founded in 1980 by artists, for artists, with the aim of encouraging a greater awareness of the visual arts and participation in the creative process. A registered educational charity, Kew Studio welcomes aspiring and established artists at all levels of experience. We offer a range of possibilities, from workshops and classes to full membership. Some artists base themselves at the Studio, while others make occasional visits. A strong nucleus of Resident Artists provides a stimulating and supportive atmosphere from which all can benefit. The studio comprises two large, open-plan rooms and a Print Studio, which provide:
- Resident Artist studio spaces
- Open Studio space for artists wishing to work at the Studio on an occasional basis
- Art classes and workshops
- Exhibition space
- Etching and Screen Printing Studio
